Brabham Consulting has worked with business and technology long enough to know that technology alone does not solve business problems.

That's why we focus on three key components, being:

As independent business and technology advisors we have seen it all!  Often we find expensive technology is implemented within an organisation and not being used correctly, or the organisation has implemented the wrong technology for their business needs. This leads to a lot of frustrated people shaking their heads in the workplace!

The implementation of new technology gives an organisation a perfect opportunity to revisit their existing business processes and look to not only improve what they do but how they do it.

Brabham Consulting loves a client that is willing to fully participate not just in the technology implementation but also look deeper at their business as a whole for some serious improvement. Part of this includes examining Six Key Questions relevant for any business:

  • Why... do you do what you do
  • What... is it that you do
  • Who... does it and why do they do it
  • How... do they do it
  • When... do they do it
  • Where... do they do it

In 'techno' speak this is known as Enterprise Architecture. But in simple terms it pulls apart the business and looks at the core tasks performed and how they intertwine, giving us all a 360 degree view of the organisation. Only then can business processes be known and improved. Sounds like common sense really, doesn't it!   Surprisingly many organisations do not take the challenge to ask themselves these questions from a strategic point of view...that's why we are here.
